• Mutations only shift toward lower breeding power pals; the limit is Rock Armor Dragon (BP 30)
• Mutation passives are World Tree type and <strong>cannot be transferred via Yakumo</strong>

Passive Skill Inheritance Rules

Same-species breeding inherits parent passives. Base inheritance rates depend on passive tier; the 1.0 Special Cake (Lv74) greatly boosts multi-passive inheritance.

Yakumo Skill Transfer Limits

• World Tree & Legendary passives: cannot be transferred via Yakumo, inheritance only

• Exclusive passives (Witch, Sea King, etc.): inheritance only
• Normal & Rainbow passives: can be transferred via Yakumo

IV Inheritance & Perfect Breeding

• Child IV is averaged from parents; use an IV calculator to confirm IV 90+ individuals
• Mushroom Cake and Extravagant Vegetable Cake boost potential (IV) growth chance
• Filter high-IV individuals then breed again, accumulating toward IV 100 over generations

Breeding Power System (Hidden Stat)

Formula: child BP = (father BP + mother BP) / 2. The system picks the pal closest to that value as the child.

Practical Tips

• World Tree passives can't be transferred via Yakumo; inherit them through pre-prepared egg-stock pals
• Compress generations: use Chikipi (3080) as a passive carrier to inherit to various pals
• No need to grind World Tree for all 50 base work pals; inherit passives via egg-stock pals to various base pals

1.0 Breeding Partner Skill Synergies

Egg-to-Boss conversion (saddle required)

• Broncherry: 35-45% chance egg becomes Boss
• Broncherry Aqua: 45-55% chance egg becomes Boss
• <strong>Note</strong>: without the saddle unlocked, even 100% conversion won't trigger

Base Egg Production Boost

• Braloha: base egg production speed +20-50%

Egg Pickup Bonus

• Grintale: passive egg pickup 50% chance for extra egg (saddle required)

Mutation Probability Details

• Normal mutation rate: <strong>3%</strong>
• Extravagant Vegetable Cake mutation rate: <strong>7%</strong>
• Mutation always produces a pal with HIGHER breed combi (lower breeding power number) than both parents
• All self-breed-only pals (Xenolord, Bellanoir Libero, Palus Ignis) <strong>cannot be mutated</strong>
• Mutation eggs always come with <strong>2 rainbow passives</strong> + 2 inherited from parents

BOSS Egg Benefits

• BOSS pals have <strong>more HP and larger size</strong> (better for small pals)
• Some BOSS pals drop blueprints when slaughtered (e.g. Jormuntide, Blazamut)
• <strong>EXCEPTION</strong>: Sekhmet BOSS version has broken partner skill (400% work speed bug)
• Large pals like Mammorest don't benefit much from BOSS size for combat

Ancient Civilization Breeding Ranch

• Ancient civilization breeding ranch produces eggs faster but consumes more resources
• Does <strong>NOT</strong> benefit from Nanny passive for egg PRODUCTION
• DOES benefit from Nanny passive for egg HATCHING speed
• Breeding ranches are <strong>STACKABLE</strong> (can place multiple)
• Any breeding ranch (including ancient) can produce mutation eggs even without Extravagant Vegetable Cake
• Any breeding ranch can produce BOSS eggs even without Broncherry/Broncherry Aqua

White-Blank Breeding Technique

• Two blank pals (no passives) bred together = <strong>1/4 chance</strong> of blank offspring
• If either parent has any passive, blank is <strong>impossible</strong> (will always inherit)
• Single passive + blank pal = <strong>100% passive transfer</strong> to new species
• This is the core technique for <strong>transferring one passive at a time</strong> during perfect breeding

Old Save Legendary Passive Survivors

• After 1.0, some pals like Boltmane and Lyleen can no longer be bred from other pals
• Graduated pals in old saves still retain Legendary or Eternal Flame passive bonuses
• Pals after #184 Rock Armor Dragon can only breed within the same species; foreign passives can't be added
